Patricia (Paddy) Estridge
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
An infinitely curious software engineer, CEO Paddy has previously worked at Google, in international logistics and community management, and Betterment (the original robo advisor) as Lead Mobile Engineer. Her specialties include building teams, bringing people together, delivering complex projects and making the massive manageable.
Mike Allen, PhD
Co-Founder, Chief Science Officer
Mike is a marine biotechnologist with two decades of research experience working with and valorising algae. The author of > 100 research articles, Mike has published cutting edge research on topics including bioremediation, water sanitation, high throughput liquid processing, novel technology development and biorefineries.
Blythe Taylor
Chief of Staff
A skilled communicator and people manager, Blythe's background is in international qualitative market research. With over a decade of facilitation experience, she's honed the art of asking the right questions to uncover the most interesting answers. Channelling her innate curiosity into climate change solutions is a welcome challenge.
Rebecca McShane
Head of Research Commercialisation, Glasgow
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to SeaGen with a solid 17-year background in telecommunications. She is excited to leverage this expertise at SeaGen, where she will oversee operations in Glasgow and support the team in enhancing project efficiency. Rebecca's commitment to sustainability and her extensive experience make her a valuable asset to the SeaGen team.

Lead Electronics Engineer
Queron brings over a decade of experience in advanced electronics design, including 10 years at Dyson His expertise lies in electromechanical integration, with a strong focus on developing innovative prototypes and precision-engineered, water-resistant electronic enclosures. Queron's background in both design and rigorous tolerance testing makes him a key asset in turning bold ideas into robust, real-world solutions.
Alex Munro
Lead Robotics Engineer
Alex is a multidisciplinary design and mechanical engineer with 9 years of experience at Dyson, where he honed his reputation as a true "super generalist." His broad skillset spans mechanical design, CAD, electronics, programming, and hands-on prototype development. With particular expertise in motor and drive system design, as well as injection-moulded plastic components, Alex brings a rare blend of precision engineering and creative problem-solving to every project.
